Heterogeneous Advanced Networking & Applications
The Heterogeneous Advanced Networking and Applications (HANA) research laboratory started during the academic year 2003-04 as a research group at the National School of Computer Sciences (Ecole Nationale des Sciences de l'Informatique, ENSI), University of Manouba to serve as a leading research structure on networking and computer science and to foster collaborations among various national and international research institutions and between academia and industry. In the year 2013, HANA became a full fledge research laboratory under the National Licence Number LR14ES04 accredited by National General Directorate for Scientific Research, the MInistry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
Presently, HANA offers its members a supportive research and development environment in which faculty members, researchers and graduate students conjugate their efforts to foster innovative research and to develop proven prototypes.
HANA research activities cover several aspects of computer communications and advanced heterogeneous wired and wireless networking and applications. Currently, a substantial amount of research focuses on ad hoc and sensor networks, networking security and innovative networking and collaborative applications in which a particular interest is directed towards autonomic behavior and operation and QoS handling and support.
